As we move forward from this midterm election, let us stand on the opportunities, assurances and promises of Psalm 146. Regardless of who got elected or defeated, I am going to praise my way through it because praise is what I do!
From the Sermon: So this holiday season – with crowds all around let’s live up to the example of Jesus that we have seen in this text standing out from the crowd to be of comfort, compassion and cheer.
As we move forward from this midterm election, let us stand on the opportunities, assurances and promises of Psalm 146. Regardless of who got elected or defeated, I am going to praise my way through it because praise is what I do!
All Saints Day is a time set aside in the life of the church to honor those who died, especially those who died in the previous year.
You are invited to join us as the Mitchell Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church celebrates 127 years of faithful service to the Lord during our anniversary service, Sunday, November 18th at 2:00 PM. The theme for this mighty program of praise is: Voting for your future because your future is now.
The Reverend Robert Knight, and the New Greenspring and Hunts Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Churches will be our guest.
Our celebration will continue after the program with a tasty dinner served in the fellowship hall.
