On that Friday, it was dark over all the earth; from noon until three o’clock. The sun did not shine. In the house of God, the curtain was torn in two pieces.
Then, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Father, into Your hands I give My spirit.” When He said this, He died. Luke 23:44-46
On that Friday, there was no throng of shoppers to contend with at the mall.
On that Friday, there was no bargain to buy.
On that Friday, there was no traffic to navigate.
Rather, on that day, the Original Black Friday, there was just Jesus; whom suffered and died for us on the cross.
So, on this Black Friday as we celebrate all things material; let us celebrate the gifts of the Original Black Friday which are; the passion of Jesus and the forgiveness of our sins.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:16-20
